Come join your neighbors for our end-of-year volunteer day and enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast. SFRPD gardeners provide tools, gloves and project instruction to restore and beautify our park. You bring layered clothing, sturdy shoes, a sunhat and enthusiasm. Hope to see you there!
For the tenth year, Friends of Alta Plaza Park will staff an exhibitor's table at the PHRA Annual Meeting. Come learn how you can participate in helping to achieve our vision for "the jewel in the crown" of the City's park system.
Gather on the Alta Plaza Park northside lawn on Sunday, October 7th from Noon-4:00pm for the Fleet Week Air Show finale. With sweeping views of the City and Bay, Alta Plaza Park is one of the best locations to view the show.
Taking place over three consecutive days (October 5, 6, 7) in the skies above the City’s waterfront, this air show event attracts over a million people around the Bay. Featuring the United States Navy Blue Angels. For more information
To thank all our supporters for their patience during the extended construction, the Friends of Alta Plaza Park invite you to celebrate the northside revitalization. We're very pleased to announce that District 2 Supervisor Catherine Stefani will be on hand, along with SF Recreation & Park General Manager Phil Ginsburg, to celebrate the park reopening.
Come join us for pastries, coffee and live music from 9:00AM-Noon, on Sunday, September 23rd, on the plaza adjacent to the children's playground and sports courts. All are welcome! Please RSVP so we may plan on your attendance.
